It supports jobs, families, recreation, and rural economies.
It is where people hunt, fish, trap, ride, log, guide, camp, and work.
It is also where conservation, stewardship, and responsible use have coexisted for generations.
When access is restricted through permanent land-use designations made without transparency or meaningful public involvement, the impact reaches far beyond a map.
Trails are lost.
Local businesses suffer.
Communities lose flexibility and control.
Public land must remain public.
That means open, shared, and managed with full public accountability.
Access today does not guarantee access tomorrow.
An informed and engaged public is the only safeguard that ensures it remains.

This is the first implementation of the new Adventure Class Park designation and serves as the pilot project for converting Crown land into this new park classification.
CCLP encourages the public to review the proposal and submit comments.
